How to play Memory Match

  1. Make card pairs: word and picture, term and definition, or problem and answer.
  2. Shuffle and lay all cards face down in a grid.
  3. Players take turns flipping two cards.
  4. A match is kept and the player goes again. No match means both cards are flipped back.
  5. The player with the most pairs at the end wins.

Variations

  • Whole-class version: number the cards on the board and have teams call out two numbers.
