How to play Mummy Wrap Race

  1. Split the class into teams of three or four and give each team one roll of toilet paper.
  2. Each team chooses one student to be the mummy. The mummy stands still with arms at their sides.
  3. On "go", teammates wrap the mummy from shoulders to ankles. Faces stay uncovered.
  4. The first team to use the whole roll, with the mummy still standing, wins.
  5. Give a bonus prize for the "most creative mummy" so every team has a shot.

Variations

  • Review version: teams must answer a question correctly before each new wrap of the roll.
  • Use streamers or crepe paper for a reusable, less messy version.

πŸ’‘ Teacher tips

  • Have a trash bag ready for cleanup and a 2-minute cleanup timer.
