How to play Red Light, Green Light

  1. Students line up at one side of the room or playground. The caller stands at the other side.
  2. When the caller says "green light", students walk toward the caller.
  3. When the caller says "red light", everyone freezes.
  4. Anyone caught moving goes back to the start.
  5. The first student to tag the caller becomes the next caller.

Variations

  • Add "yellow light" for slow motion.
  • Review: students answer a question correctly to take two steps.
