How to make classroom bingo cards

On the 1. Make cards tab, paste your vocabulary words, sight words, numbers or answers, choose a card size and the number of cards, then press Make cards. Each card is shuffled differently and numbered. Press Print to print them.

Call the game on the board

Switch to 2. Call the game and project it. Press Call next (or the space bar) to draw a word onto the big bingo ball; every called word stays in the list below so nobody misses one. Turn on auto-call, or show the word bank so students can fill in their own blank grids. When someone shouts β€œBingo!”, type their card number and press Check card to see the winning line.

Read the classroom bingo rules for review ideas, or use the grid for a Find Someone Who icebreaker.

Questions teachers ask

Frequently asked questions

How many words do I need?

A 5x5 card with a free space needs at least 24 words; 4x4 needs 16 and 3x3 needs 9. More words make the cards more varied.

How do I check a bingo?

Every printed card has a number. Type it under β€œWho has bingo?” and the tool marks the called words and shows whether a full line is done.

Can I print bingo cards for the whole class?

Yes. Create up to 40 unique cards and print them in one go.
