How to play classroom hangman
Click Edit words before class and type your spelling or vocabulary words, one per line. Add a hint after a bar, like volcano | A mountain that can erupt. Press Done, hide the list: the word list stays hidden while you play and never appears in full screen. You can also type one secret word on the spot.
Students guess letters by tapping the big letter keys (or you type them on the keyboard). Each miss adds a chalk piece to the snowman; solve the word before the snowman is finished. Use Hint when the class is stuck, pick Easy, Normal or Hard, and play 2 to 4 teams that take turns and score a point for every letter they find. Read the full hangman classroom rules and variations.

Why a snowman instead of a hanging figure?
Many teachers prefer a friendlier drawing for the classroom. The rules are exactly the same.
Can students see the word list?
No. The list sits behind the Edit words button, closes when you press Done and is never shown in full screen.
Can I use phrases?
Yes. Spaces and punctuation are shown automatically; students only guess letters.
