Accounts and saving
Do I need an account? No. Nothing on the site needs one. Your lists, favorites and class names are saved in the browser you use.
How do I move my questions to another computer? Make a share code and open it on the other computer, or download the list as CSV and import it there.
Why are my lists gone? They are cleared when browsing data is cleared, in private windows, and in a different browser or computer user. Keep important lists as share codes or CSV files.
In the classroom
The game is too small on the projector. Press ⛶ Full screen. If text is still small, zoom the browser in before going full screen.
Students can see the answers. The editor holds the answers, so close it before projecting. It closes by itself in full screen and when a class link is opened.
There is no sound. Check the 🔊 button in the game, then the computer’s volume. Browsers only play sound after you have clicked something on the page.
Connection problems
“Could not reach the server.” The live quiz, AI questions and share codes need an internet connection. Check that you are online and reload the page. School filters sometimes block new sites: ask your IT team to allow classroom-games.net and api.classroom-games.net.
The page looks plain or fonts are missing. Some networks block web fonts. The site still works with your computer’s fonts.
Live quiz
Students can’t join. Check the code on the board, and that students use classroom-games.net/join. Rooms close after four hours; make a new room for the next lesson.
AI questions
“None left today.” Each device and school network has a daily limit, which resets at midnight UTC. The ready-made question sets are always available.
The AI got an answer wrong. Delete or fix that line in the preview or the editor. Always check AI questions before class.
Privacy
We don’t ask for personal information and students never sign up. Read the privacy policy for details on the live quiz, AI questions and share codes.
